Student displays a sand collection from Texel, the Netherlands. The sand was collected for Ms. Ilene Levine's renowned Sands of the World curriculum element in 3rd grade, Roosevelt Public School, Roosevelt, Monmouth Co., New Jersey, U.S.A.

In the third grade this year, we studied sand from around the world. Mom and Dad and I collected this sand for Ms. Ilene on the island of Texel in the Netherlands. This is me holding the collection of sand.
