Fertility baths at base of stairs
of Xochitecatl main pyramid - Every 52 years all
buildings and belongings in the culture had to be
renewed. A new layer of stone was put on
pyramids; and, here, an older womb-shaped bath
was buried and replaced by a circular one.
Note that, for display, a layer of stone were
removed from the staircase in the center.
